There are times when you will have to erect your tent on less-than-perfect ground, there will be stones, twigs, waterlogged grass; all sorts of abrasive surfaces. We all grimace whilst pitching our tents on such ground- but using a footprint may save your tent from rips and tears.
Ordos 3 footprint is composed from a waterproof lightweight 20D ripstop nylon which will give your tent the needed protection from rough ground and water saturated pitches. When sharing the weight of the tent between 2 or 3 people, the extra weight of the footprint is so negligible that there is no excuse to leave it behind!
Eyelets on each corner allow you to pitch your Ordos using just the outer tent and footprint for a lighter shelter with better ventilation in insect-free months.
