Behind the Design The distinctive colours of this shoe are reminiscent of the brick-colored trail markings as well as fog, mud and mountains that characterize the Donghai Yunding Trail. The leaf graphics on the top of the flap are reminiscent of the misty bamboo tunnels through which the runners meander along the trail. On trips into the landscape, runners often comb through terraced forests, which can be seen on the insoles. Key features The waterproof Gore-Tex upper and the 3D print toe cap ensure that your feet stay dry and comfortable. The ReactX foam midsole provides good energy return with low weight. The material of the Nike Trail ATC outsole is suitable for all terrain and is perfect for wet and dry weather. A robust, high collar prevents dirt and stones from entering your shoe. What's new The all-new ReactX foam midsole is 13% more responsive than previous React technology. ReactX foam is designed with a focus on performance and the planet. The CO2 footprint of a pair of midsoles is reduced by at least 43% as less energy is required in their production than in the production of the earlier Nike React foam. ReactX's carbon footprint is based on a cradle to gate assessment conducted by PRé Sustainability B.V. and Intertek China.
