About Magma Products
Magma traces its history back to 1976, when California sailors and identical twins Jim and Jerry Mashburn grew frustrated trying to grill on their boats. After several porcelain metal grills quickly rusted out, the twins set out to make a stainless-steel grill that could withstand the hardships of a saltwater environment. More than 30 years later, Magma's familiar stainless-steel grills can be seen from Newport to New South Wales, from Cape Cod to Cape Horn, and from the South of France to San Francisco. The original charcoal grill is still available, but is now complemented with several round and rectangular propane models.
